Introduce your company!
Cue North has evolved from a general business consultancy since our inception in 2015 to a digital consultancy and product studio that helps leaders transform their organizations through digital experiences.
Our work ranges from automating business processes and designing new databases to building web or mobile apps to help our clients introduce new technology to their companies and teams.
Earlier this year, we decided to build a product to solve one of our healthcare client’s problems. Read on to learn more about Shyfted.
What is your mission as a company?
We believe digital experiences can help teams work better and faster. That's why we work with leaders to design business processes and bring the right tech tools to their organizations.
We solve problems collaboratively, through deep understanding of users, design and iterative prototyping.
Show off some work or products you're excited about.
In the past few months, some of the work we’ve done include: building a member portal for a professional association, redesigning a patient waitlist/management process and developing a digital adoption plan for an environmental consultancy firm.
We’ve also built Shyfted, a community platform (currently a mobile app) for members working shifts to swap shifts and connect with each other. At the moment, we are in private beta with a customer.

Why are you proud to be a women-led company?
Cue North is a woman-owned business. Lorraine, our founder, has built Cue North with the support of many teammates who are also women. As a team, we value curiosity, creativity and collaboration.
We always strive to make a positive impact for our clients, each other, in our industry and in our community.
In what ways other than gender equity do you think your company is making the world a better place?
We are spending a lot of our time working with healthcare organizations. A couple of examples from our work this year:
Helped a primary care clinic to better manage their patient waitlists
Worked with the owner of an optometry clinic to identify opportunities to use technology to improve their business operations.
